Smart Traffic Management System

An IoT system to monitor and optimize urban traffic flow in real-time.

Technical Details

This project uses a network of IoT nodes equipped with magnetometers and cameras installed at intersections. The nodes detect vehicle presence and flow, sending data to a central server over a cellular network. The server processes this data to dynamically adjust traffic light timings, reducing congestion and wait times. A web dashboard provides city planners with real-time traffic visualization and historical data analysis.
