Using RFID technology to automate inventory tracking in a retail store.

Technical Details

RFID tags were attached to all products. Fixed RFID readers at entry/exit points and handheld readers for staff were used to track inventory movements automatically. A central database, updated in real-time, provides an accurate stock count, reducing manual effort and preventing stockouts. The system integrates with the existing Point of Sale (POS) system and provides analytics on product movement and popularity.
