A robot that autonomously mows a lawn, avoiding obstacles and staying within a boundary.

Technical Details

The robot uses a combination of GPS RTK for precise positioning and an IMU for orientation. A perimeter wire creates a boundary that the robot detects with a sensor. Ultrasonic sensors and a front bumper are used for obstacle avoidance. The cutting pattern is optimized for full coverage and efficiency. The robot is battery-powered and can autonomously return to its charging station.
